EL PROGRAMA NACIONAL DE DESARROLLO DE LA GEOLOGÍA 2013 – 2019. PRINCIPALES RESULTADOS PARA ORO THE NATIONAL PROGRAM GEOLOGY DEVELOPMENT 2013 - 2019. MAIN RESULTS FOR THE GOLD López Kramer, Jesús Manuel Pérez Mayo, Héctor Rodriguez Romero, Mabel analysis geological research gold Cuba análisis investigaciones geológicas oro Cuba Se analizan los resultados obtenidos en 5 años de investigaciones geológicas en el Programa Nacional de Desarrollo de la Geología, profundizándose en los aspectos de mayor relevancia que influyen en la eficiencia de las inversiones geológicas y específicamente, en los relacionados con el oro. Se utilizan resultados de visitas del Grupo de Control de la Actividad Geológica a los objetivos, sus actas, información económica, así como los informes, tareas técnicas y otros documentos relacionados. Partiendo de la revisión bibliográfica crítica y de los resultados obtenidos se evalúan las metodologías usadas en las investigaciones geológicas y se valoran acciones futuras. Se incluyen objetivos concluidos o en proceso de investigación para menas primarias y oxidadas. Los modestos resultados obtenidos indican un incremento del conocimiento geológico y trazan nuevas direcciones diferentes a las del Programa Nacional del Oro. Se concluye que los gossans son objetivos inmediatos con mayores posibilidades a desarrollar con financiamiento estatal, pero se impone la revisión de las estrategias en las investigaciones geológicas desde el punto de vista de su proyección. La factibilidad de los proyectos dependerá de la solución a las insuficiencias de la base analítica, la acreditación de los laboratorios y la falta de personal capacitado frente a los proyectos. La capacitación urgente del personal dirigente necesita de procedimientos actualizados y claros, con mucho auto estudio y cursos dirigidos. Estimar la eficiencia de las inversiones en las investigaciones geológicas permitirá a los decisores evaluar fortalezas y debilidades. Los resultados muestran que el ciclo de investigación geológica es dilatado y costoso, lo que pone en peligro la continuidad de las operaciones. In the results analysis of the obtained in the first 5 years of geological investigations carried out in the National Geology Development Program, the main results achieved are evaluated deepening in the greater relevance aspects that influence the efficiency of geological investments and specifically, in those related to gold. Results of the Geological Activity visits Control Group are used to the objectives, their minutes, economic information, as well as the reports, technical tasks, and other related documents. Based on critical literature review and the obtained results, the methodologies used in geological investigations are evaluated and future actions are evaluated. Reference is made to the objectives completed or under investigation for primary and oxidized ores, as well as the approved Geological Tasks. The results obtained, although modest, indicate an increase in geological knowledge and permit us to draw new directions different from those proposed in the National Gold Program. It is concluded that gossans are immediate objectives with greater possibilities to develop with state financing, but they require the strategies revision in geological investigations from their projection point of view. Until the inadequacies of the analytical base, the accreditation of the laboratories and the lack of trained personnel in projects charge are solved the definition of the projects feasibility will continue to be much compromised. Estimating the efficiency of investments in geological investigations will consent decision makers to assess strengths and weaknesses. The results show that geological research cycle is extensive and expensive.
